Social Engineering – John Pizzuro

The anonymity of apps and other online platforms has made it increasingly more difficult for anyone investigating them to obtain information and valuable evidence. Criminals and others do everything they can do to remain hidden. This session will focus on the “Art of Social Engineering” and how to unwittingly get others to provide you the information you need. There are neurological and psychological elements as to why people will disclose information that could harm them. These techniques have been utilized in numerous investigations and examples will be given on how the mind works and how you could use their words against them to get what you need.
