Efren Torres – 2021 OSMOSIS Speaker

Mr. Efren R. Torres currently works as a senior analyst in the private sector with a focus on investigations, government sanctions, money laundering and adverse media detection. Prior to his current role, Mr. Torres worked in intelligence units of major media and pharmaceutical corporations with responsibilities monitoring drug trafficking, animal rights extremists, social unrest, geopolitical instability, and terrorism. Mr. Torres holds an MA in Intelligence and Security Studies from Brunel University, an MSc.Econ. in Intelligence, Strategic Studies and Terrorism from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, and a BA in Cognitive Psychology from the University of California, Irvine. Mr. Torres has experience building and developing protective intelligence units in private sector global security programs and is the founder of the Global Hazards & Open-Source Team (GHOST), a pay-it-forward initiative that trains and develops high-performing private sector intelligence analysts.
